  • Virescence is a botanical term describing the process of becoming green or taking on fresh, vibrant life—like new growth emerging in spring.

I chose this name because it captures what happens when leaders break through what’s holding them back. They don’t become someone different. They become more fully alive as themselves—clearer, more energized, more effective. That’s virescence.

  • The core program is six months with 2-3 sessions per month, plus unlimited text and email support between sessions. You also have the option to add 5-day intensive sprints (90-minute sessions) for rapid clarity on specific decisions or challenges.

  • Pricing depends on the program structure and your specific needs. I discuss investment details during the discovery call once we’ve determined if coaching is the right fit for you.

If you have a referral code from a partner, bring that to the discovery call and we’ll apply your discount.

  • Yes. All coaching is done via Zoom, so I work with clients anywhere. I’ve coached leaders across the United States and internationally.

  • Sessions are typically held mornings ET, weekday evenings ET, or Saturdays. We’ll find a consistent time that works for your schedule during our first session.

  • All sessions are conducted via Zoom. Sessions are 60-90 minutes depending on what we’re working on. I use Fireflies.ai to transcribe sessions so you can focus on the conversation, and I provide summaries after each session.

  • You will always have a personal action item that we identify together by the end of each session. Decision, next step, progress is key.

You have unlimited text and email support between sessions. If something comes up—a decision you’re facing, a challenge with your team, or a breakthrough you want to process—reach out anytime. I typically respond within 24 hours.

  • The six-month program requires upfront payment and commitment. However, life happens. If you need to pause due to unforeseen circumstances (health, family emergency, job transition), we can discuss options on a case-by-case basis.

  • The Primal Questions framework, created by Mike Foster, helps you identify the unconscious question driving your decisions, behavior, and leadership style.

    There are seven Primal Questions:

    • Am I safe?

    • Am I successful?

    • Am I loved?

    • Am I wanted?

    • Am I good enough?

    • Do I have purpose?

    • Am I secure?

One of these is your core Primal Question. Understanding which one unlocks clarity and helps you break through what’s been keeping you stuck.

  • You can take the free Primal Questions assessment here.

The assessment takes about 10 minutes and gives you insight into which question is likely yours. We’ll dive deeper into your specific Primal Question during our coaching sessions.

  • Therapy typically focuses on healing past trauma, treating mental health conditions, and processing emotions. Coaching focuses on moving forward—clarifying goals, identifying what’s holding you back, and taking action.

If you’re dealing with clinical depression, anxiety, or trauma, I encourage you to work with a licensed therapist. Coaching can complement therapy but doesn’t replace it.

  • I work with directors, senior managers, and newly minted executives—emerging leaders who are capable but stuck, ready for their next level but not sure how to get there.

My ideal clients are high-potential leaders who:

    • Want to move from “above average” to exceptional

    • Are ready to do the work
    (not just talk about it)

    • Value action over endless processing

    • Want accountability and honest feedback

  • This coaching isn’t built for:

    • People looking for therapy or long-term emotional support

    • Leaders who want theory without action

    • Anyone not willing to commit to six months of focused work

    • Executives who only want validation, not challenge

  • Direct, supportive, and results-focused. I’m here to help you get where you want to go—not to let you circle the runway.

I ask hard questions. I call out patterns you might not see. I hold you accountable. But I also believe in you and your potential, even when you don’t.

Think of it as a player’s coach approach: high expectations, genuine support, focused on outcomes.

  • 1. Real leadership experience: I’ve been the analyst, manager, director, and VP. I’ve led teams of 10-40 people across multiple states and organizations. I know what it takes to succeed at each level because I’ve done it.

    2. Primal Questions framework: Most coaches focus on skills and tactics. I go deeper—to the unconscious question driving your decisions. That’s where real breakthrough happens.

    3. Action-oriented: No long curriculum. No endless processing. We clarify what’s holding you back, then push you into decisive action. You’ll see momentum within the first few sessions.

  • Not currently. I focus exclusively on 1-on-1 coaching to provide the personalized attention and accountability that drives real transformation.

We’ll discuss where you are, where you want to go, what’s holding you back, and whether coaching is the right fit. No pressure, no obligation.

  • I’ll ask about:

    • Your current role and career trajectory

    • What’s working well and what’s not

    • What you want to achieve in the next 6-12 months

    • What’s getting in your way

I’ll explain how I work, answer your questions, and we’ll determine together if coaching makes sense for you.

If it’s a fit, I’ll send you the coaching agreement. If it’s not, I’ll tell you honestly and point you in a better direction.

  • That’s what the discovery call is for. Come with your questions, your hesitations, and your goals. We’ll figure it out together.

Many of my clients weren’t sure at first. The conversation itself often creates clarity.

  • No. The program requires a six-month commitment with payment due upfront. Payment plans may be available on a case-by-case basis (first two months upfront, then monthly thereafter).

The six-month commitment ensures you’re all-in from day one, which is when the real work happens. If you’re not ready to commit, that’s okay—but this program isn’t for you yet.

  • I’ve spent over 20 years leading teams in the energy sector—growing organizations from small teams to departments of leaders and managers. I’ve led teams ranging from 10-40 people. I’ve been an analyst, manager, director, and VP at companies like AES Corporation and Ascend Analytics.

I currently serve on the Senior Leadership Team at Silicon Valley Clean Energy as Director of Risk Management and Analytics. I also taught Energy Markets at the University of Dayton for nearly a decade.

I became a Certified Primal Questions Coach because I saw too many capable leaders get stuck—not because they lacked talent, but because they couldn’t see what was actually driving them.

  • A few years ago, I was working 60-80 hour weeks. VP title, good salary, external success—but something was off. My health was declining, and despite achieving more, I felt less fulfilled.

Then I discovered the Primal Questions framework. It gave me clarity on what was driving me (and what was draining me). I redefined success, found balance, and rebuilt my life around what mattered most.

That transformation changed everything. Now I help other leaders do the same.
